About the Programme

This 24-month highly competitive programme provides structured learning and development through:

  • Segmented fixed-term contracts with progression determined by robust evaluations.
  • Six-month rotational cycles that offer cross-functional experience within different teams.
  • A learning framework based on the 70-20-10 rule, where 70% of knowledge is gained through challenging projects, 20% through developmental relationships, and 10% through formal training.
  • Opportunities to tackle real-world business challenges, drive innovation, and develop an ownership mindset to contribute meaningfully to the company’s success.
  • Upon successful completion of the programme, participants can apply for various roles within the business, setting the foundation for a long-term career at SAB.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in fields such as:
    • Finance
    • Human Resources (Psychology or HR-related degrees)
    • Marketing
    • Technology
    • Engineering
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Logistics
  • No more than two years of total full-time formal work experience by the programme start date (Internships, vacation work, and short-term contracts do not apply).
  • Degree must be completed before the programme starts.
  • Full legal work authorization in South Africa.
  • Geographical mobility within South Africa.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
