What will you do?
The Client Data Administrator will maintain client data by capturing updates received via email, telephone, SMS, or post. You will verify existing client records, reach out to clients for missing information, and collaborate with external vendors if needed. You’ll support Operational Data Stewards by ensuring compliance with data governance policies and assisting with data subject requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Data Maintenance
- Search system records for uncaptured client data and update accordingly.
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, SMS, or post to obtain and verify updated information.
- Use external vendors or internal teams to trace clients if direct contact fails.
- Ensure client data is accurately updated on the system.
- Assist Operational Data Stewards in maintaining data integrity.
- Adhere to Sanlam’s Data Governance policies and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and resolve data irregularities.
Data Subject Participation
- Work with business units to retrieve client portfolios or process data deletion requests.
- Consolidate and communicate results to clients promptly.
What will make you successful in this role?
Qualification and Experience
- Grade 12; tertiary education advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years of administration experience.
