What will you do?
As a Branch Consultant/Financial Advisor, you will promote Sanlam Retail Mass (SRM) products and grow market share by:
- Providing expert financial advice and exceptional client service within a branch setting.
- Identifying client opportunities for optimization and cross-selling value-added products.
What will make you successful in this role?
Sales Delivery:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of SRM products and recommend tailored solutions based on client needs.
- Continuously update clients on new products or changes, adjusting their portfolios accordingly.
- Validate client details and submit new business compliantly, conducting due diligence to mitigate risks.
- Prioritize daily appointments while engaging walk-in clients effectively.
In-Branch Client Service and Retention:
- Maintain and service client profiles to ensure retention.
- Follow up on payments, address queries, and manage NTUs (Not Taken Up) with corrective actions.
- Proactively monitor persistency and provide alternative payment solutions when needed.
- Resolve client queries or escalate using the proper framework, ensuring timely feedback.
Quality, Compliance, and Development:
- Adhere to compliance standards, maintain FAIS and CPD requirements, and flag potential risks.
- Keep accurate records of advice and log activities for reporting and decision-making.
Monthly Planning and Reporting:
- Report daily activities via relevant platforms and compile data for weekly/monthly reporting.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Retail Branch Manager.
Qualification and Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 1+ year sales/marketing experience (insurance branch experience preferred)
- RE5 (advantageous)
- FAIS Compliant (Wealth Management)
- Class of Business training (to be completed within 12 months of employment)
