What will you do?
Promote Sanlam Retail Mass products and expand market share by:

  • Providing expert financial advice and superior client service within a branch setting.
  • Identifying opportunities for client optimization and cross-selling value-added products.

What will make you successful in this role?

Sales Delivery:

  • Master SRM’s product range to offer tailored financial solutions.
  • Assess client needs and recommend suitable, affordable products.
  • Keep clients informed of product updates and adjust portfolios as needed.
  • Submit new business accurately, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct due diligence to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Balance scheduled appointments with walk-in client opportunities.

In-Branch Client Service & Retention:

  • Manage client profiles to ensure long-term retention.
  • Proactively follow up on payments, queries, and support needs.
  • Address NTUs (Not Taken Up) and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor payment persistency and suggest alternative arrangements.
  • Resolve client queries or escalate using established protocols.
  • Guide clients through policy cancellations with viable alternatives.

Quality, Compliance & Development:

  • Maintain compliance with industry and internal standards.
  • Stay updated on registrations, product knowledge, and CPD requirements.
  • Identify and report risks or fraudulent activities.
  • Document advice and activities as per regulatory guidelines.

Monthly Planning & Reporting:

  • Report daily activities via designated platforms.
  • Compile data for weekly/monthly reporting deadlines.
  • Support ad-hoc requests from the Retail Branch Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1+ year in sales/marketing (insurance branch experience preferred).
  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • RE5 certification (advantageous).
  • FAIS Compliant (Wealth Management) per DOFA.
  • Class of Business training (completed within 12 months).
