Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Stewardship: Manage the general ledger, prepare management accounts, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Group Consolidations & Currency Expertise: Lead consolidation processes and handle complex foreign currency transactions.
- Asset & Payables Oversight: Administer fixed asset accounting and supervise accounts payable operations.
- Treasury & Risk Management: Optimise working capital through cash flow oversight, banking relationships, and insurance portfolio management.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Develop budgets, forecasts, and ensure smooth audit processes.
- Leadership & Influence: Guide a high-performing team, provide strategic insights, and foster continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- CA(SA) qualification
- 5+ years post-articles experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Deep understanding of IFRS and internal control frameworks
