Job Summary:
Join a forward-thinking Data Science team as a Senior Data Science Consultant. In this remote role, you will leverage alternative data to deliver strategic insights, drive data-driven decision-making, and lead high-impact projects for clients across industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end data science projects, aligning with client goals and delivering measurable impact.
- Provide strategic consulting, transforming data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Develop predictive models, data products, and forecasting tools to solve complex challenges.
- Translate technical findings into clear, compelling recommendations for stakeholders.
- Manage project teams, ensuring timely, high-quality execution and results.
- Build performance dashboards and reports to communicate key metrics and insights.
- Support business growth through client engagement, upselling, and cross-selling.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (Postgraduate preferred).
- 5+ years in a senior data science role, including leadership of projects and teams.
- 2+ years in strategic/management consulting, focusing on data-driven decisions.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Azure ML, PySpark, Databricks, and Delta Lake.
- Proven ability to build and orchestrate Synapse Pipelines (SQL, Spark, APIs).
- Advantageous: Azure Data Scientist Associate certification, experience in insurance pricing or risk models.
- Passion for staying ahead of AI, ML, and alternative data trends.
