We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Broker to join SydSen Recruit, specialising in Risk (Life) and Commercial Short-Term Insurance. This role is perfect for a professional who excels in building lasting client relationships, crafting tailored insurance solutions, and providing expert advice to ensure peace of mind.
About the Role
As a Broker with us, you will assess client needs, design appropriate cover, and deliver outstanding after-sales service. You’ll work with a diverse portfolio, covering both individual and corporate clients, safeguarding them against life’s uncertainties and commercial risks.
Minimum Requirements
- NQF 5 and RE 5
- Relevant degree in Financial Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of proven Broker experience
- Strong understanding of insurance products, policies, and regulations
- Exceptional communication, networking, and negotiation skills
- Target-driven with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed needs analysis and offer customised insurance solutions
- Attract new clients and manage an existing portfolio
- Negotiate and arrange suitable insurance cover
- Conduct regular policy reviews and provide after-sales support
- Ensure compliance with industry legislation and company policies
