Senior Accountant – Communicate Recruitment
Job Summary
Financial Reporting & General Ledger
Manage the general ledger and ensure seamless, accurate financial data integration. Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly reports to support informed decision-making. Strengthen financial controls, identify risks, and drive process improvements. Collaborate with the finance team on monthly reporting, forecasting, and special projects.
Debtors Control
Monitor debtor performance and risk through detailed reporting and analysis. Oversee credit insurance processes and implement enhancements in debtor management.
Grower Payments & Season-End
Ensure accurate grower payments and manage pooling processes. Maintain strong season-end reconciliations and oversee audit engagements effectively.
Cashflow & Forex Management
Administer the company’s FEC (Foreign Exchange Control) policy for foreign currency transactions. Improve cashflow forecasting and payment processes to optimize liquidity.
Skills & Experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and policies
- High accuracy with ability to meet deadlines
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Experience with Sage 300 or similar accounting software
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Completed articles
- Minimum 3 years of commercial accounting experience
