About the Program:

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, while offering professional advice in line with Clicks’ standards, good pharmacy practice, and the legal scope defined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care and professional counselling.
  • Manage dispensary operations efficiently, including stock control, shrinkage management, housekeeping, and administrative tasks, in line with SAPC regulations and company standards.
  • Focus on core dispensary and clinic targets to ensure operational success.
  • Mentor and develop Pharmacist Assistants and Interns according to SAPC requirements.
  • Drive excellent customer service initiatives to enhance customer experience, loyalty, and club card participation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres to achieve business objectives.
  • Integrate services with the clinic and healthcare aisle to offer comprehensive customer healthcare solutions.
  • Support Clicks’ vision of being the first-choice health and beauty retailer by embodying company values.

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Essential: Registered Pharmacist with SAPC.
  • Desirable: Retail pharmacy experience.
  • Desirable: Unisolve experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • SAPC and legal compliance knowledge.
  • Ethical work practices and adherence to regulations.
  • Stock, cost, risk, and compliance management.
  • Patient care and professional counselling.
  • Customer service excellence.
  • Tutorship and coaching capabilities.
  • Results-oriented with strong planning, organising, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and computer literacy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation.
