About the Program

Job Description

• Compile work packs for upcoming maintenance checks, including informing stores of NDT requirements and necessary components, ensuring timely submission to the MRO.
• Capture and manage work order data from the MRO.
• Create work orders for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well as for aircraft in storage.
• Monitor and follow up on all open work orders, reviewing completed orders for accuracy.
• Close work orders from outstations and the MRO once maintenance is complete.
• Manage component movements linked to MRO work orders.
• Communicate findings from work orders and QA/QC reports to relevant departments.
• Assist with capturing and filing ATLRs when required.
• Arrange aircraft and component extensions per approved AMP.
• Update maintenance schedules and systems accurately.
• Load new components into the MRO system and ensure all installed components are properly controlled, including links to previous releases where required.
• Update logbooks for aircraft and major modules.
• Ensure all ADS, SBS, EOs, and ASBs are applied within the required timelines.
• Provide maintenance-related information to other departments upon request.
• Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) and Certificates Related to Maintenance of an Aircraft (CRMA) following maintenance completion.
• Attend survey meetings for scheduled checks and post-mortem meetings to advise on process improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant aviation regulations, policies, and guidelines.
• Adhere to statutory regulations, organizational standards, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Planning Specialist regarding scheduling and required downtime.

Job Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
• Technical Diploma or Technical Trade in Aviation (Advantageous)
• Certificate in Maintenance Planning (Advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance planning (Essential)
• Experience with technical maintenance systems (Advantageous)
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work overtime
