Job Objectives

  • Deliver and maintain high standards of pharmaceutical care through accurate, safe dispensing practices, including generic substitution and professional patient counselling, in line with Clicks’ way of working, good pharmacy practice and SAPC legal requirements.

  • Manage and control all dispensary operations, including responsible stock management, shrinkage prevention, housekeeping and administration, in accordance with merchandising standards, SAPC regulations and company policies.

  • Ensure the ongoing operational and financial viability of the dispensary by managing expenses, achieving core dispensary and clinic targets and taking proactive corrective action when required.

  • Build, lead and develop a competent and motivated team, including learners and interns, through effective recruitment, leadership, coaching and continuous development to meet current and future business needs.

  • Plan and manage staff scheduling in line with labour legislation, labour models and company policies, ensuring accurate time, attendance and employee records are maintained and submitted to HR.

  • Drive customer service excellence within the dispensary to deliver a consistently positive customer experience, build loyalty and achieve customer participation targets.

  • Ensure effective integration and collaboration with the clinic and healthcare aisle to provide customers with a comprehensive healthcare offering.

  • Live and promote the Group’s values in support of the vision to be the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer.

  • Foster cohesion, consistency and strong collaboration between store operations, pharmacy and clinic teams.

  • Drive a high-performance culture that enhances employee engagement, customer satisfaction and shareholder value.
