About the Program

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective distribution coordination within the Distribution Centre to achieve organizational objectives.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock availability and placing orders in collaboration with the customer’s Replenishment Planner.
• Coordinate order fulfillment, verifying PO validity, aligning recovery dates, and addressing missed deliveries or rejected orders.
• Prepare daily reports on KVI lines, stock days of cover, and upcoming orders to maintain consistent availability.
• Plan and monitor promotional stock, highlighting potential risks for low-stock SKUs and recovery timelines post-promotion.
• Support achievement of sales targets by providing relevant sales data and assisting in promotional planning within the DC.
• Communicate out-of-stock situations to stakeholders, including company-wide and DC-specific stock issues, and provide production and recovery information.
• Negotiate bulk orders at the DC and key franchise stores.
• Maintain effective administration, including management listings, customer liaison, and product distribution oversight.

Qualifications

• Relevant Diploma (NQF Level 6) in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales and merchandising experience in an FMCG environment.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Performance and results-driven mindset with resilience and stress management capabilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong planning, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to service excellence.
• Agility and continuous improvement focus in operations.
