Purpose of the Job
The Call Centre Agent at Value Logistics is responsible for daily customer engagement, providing excellent service, and driving sales. This role involves actively promoting products, upselling, and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact existing customers to place and accurately capture orders.
- Promote product or category-specific deals and sales campaigns.
- Reactivate inactive customers to boost engagement and sales.
- Support the Key Sales team by reaching out to customers in Remote or underserved areas.
- Actively sell and upsell products to maximize order value.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment by following up on deliveries.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and issue resolution.
- Update and manage customer information and order records in the system.
- Work closely with internal teams to improve order processing and logistics efficiency.
- Meet or exceed sales and performance targets set by management.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
Skills Required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Persuasive negotiation and sales techniques.
- Professional telephone etiquette and customer service focus.
- Problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
