HR Genie is seeking a dedicated Paraplanner to join our team and support financial advisers in delivering exceptional client service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in comprehensive financial planning while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Case Preparation: Gather and analyze financial information, including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and insurance policies, to compile comprehensive client files for adviser meetings.
  • Financial Research and Analysis: Investigate financial products, investment opportunities, pensions, and market trends to support informed and compliant financial advice.
  • Report Writing: Draft tailored suitability reports, investment proposals, and financial plans to clearly articulate client recommendations.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Support: Ensure all processes and documentation adhere to industry regulations and company policies, staying updated on legal changes.
  • Administrative Assistance: Prepare meeting materials, update client records, and assist with new business applications to streamline adviser workflows.
  • Ongoing Client Service: Monitor portfolio performance, recommend rebalancing, and respond to client inquiries to maintain long-term financial health.
  • Collaboration: Partner with financial planners, compliance teams, and product providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Continuous Learning: Pursue professional development to stay current with evolving financial regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field. Additional certifications (e.g., Diploma in Financial Planning or CFP®) are a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, financial planning software, and CRM systems. Strong knowledge of investments, tax planning, pensions, and compliance.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in documentation and analysis to mitigate risks and uphold service standards.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal abilities to simplify complex financial concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Organisational Ability: Excellent time management to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively across departments to achieve shared goals.
  • Ethics and Professionalism: High integrity, discretion, and a client-first mindset.
