Job Description
We are seeking an Administrator to oversee seamless onboarding, offboarding, and IT administration processes. This role ensures smooth background and reference checks, tech enablement, and employee support in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support
Tech Enablement
- Manage onboarding workflows via the internal IT partner portal, coordinating email creation, system access, and device provisioning.
- Approve software licenses (e.g., Microsoft 365) and procure/rent laptops and accessories.
- Update BambooHR with IT details, track assets, and distribute equipment policies via Signing Hub.
- Maintain employee directories and mailing lists.
Tech Disablement
- Initiate offboarding procedures, including equipment returns via FedEx or client-specific methods.
- Update tracking tools and confirm asset retrieval.
Tech Maintenance
- Conduct IT asset audits, manage inventory, and oversee service ticket resolution.
- Coordinate technician support and ensure compliance with asset policies.
- Liaise with Finance on equipment insurance and invoice audits.
Background & Reference Checks
- Manage background checks (including South Africa and UK) from initiation to completion.
- Verify identities, collect documentation, and compile audit-ready reports.
- Conduct reference checks by contacting referees and notifying stakeholders of outcomes.
Internal Communications
- Track employee milestones (birthdays, cultural celebrations) and post acknowledgments in internal channels.

Additional Information
This role is 60% IT administration, with the remaining split between background checks and offboarding. Candidates must have legal work authorization in the country of hire without sponsorship.
