Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as stand-in for Housekeeping Managers, managing and administering required tasks.
- Prepare and distribute cleaning equipment to staff as needed.
- Oversee daily Housekeeping Manager operations.
- Supervise daily cleaning of all residence areas in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Arrange for casual staff as required.
- Communicate work-related issues to staff and report to the Service Manager.
- Conduct weekly inspections in all residence areas and report findings.
- Distribute toilet paper and hand towels on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
- Report special cleaning needs and staff-related issues to the Service Manager.
- Address maintenance concerns and escalate to the Service Manager.
- Stand in for Housekeeping Managers as needed.
- Manage extra hygiene and deep cleaning tasks in assigned areas.
- Supervise staff and provide feedback to Housekeeping Managers.
- Attend weekly meetings with the Housekeeping Manager.
- Report maintenance, pest control, and faulty equipment in residences.
- Conduct scheduled inventory counts and report misuse of furniture.
Inherent Job Requirements:
- Grade 10 (NQF Level 2).
- Relevant experience related to the duties and responsibilities.
Recommendations:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a colour-code cleaning system.
- Colour coding cleaning system certificate.

Closing Date: 17 August 2025
Salary: R122,167.78 per annum (including benefits).
