Offshore Welding QC Inspector – Offshore Pipeline Construction

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute field welding inspections, surveillance, and Quality Control activities for offshore pipeline construction, ensuring accurate record collection.
- Ensure all welding operations comply with relevant Codes, Standards, and company Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans.
- Conduct specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities as per Quality Control Plans.
- Verify welding parameters, consumables, and welder qualifications during operations.
- Monitor adherence to approved welding procedures and qualifications.
- Check the availability and suitability of welding equipment, consumables, pre-heating, heat treatment, bevels, and repair works.
- Ensure compliance of welding, heat treatment, and hardness testing with applicable codes and specifications.
- Perform pipe line-up checks to confirm material specifications and traceability.
- Conduct visual inspections and issue detailed reports.
- Manage and verify test, control, and inspection documents for final As Built dossier compilation.
- Oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with approved Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of offshore pipeline construction experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- CSWIP 3.1 certification.
- Fluent in English.
Work Schedule & Benefits:
- EU, UK: 56 paid working days followed by 28 unpaid leave days.
- TCN: 90 paid working days followed by 30 unpaid leave days.
- Work Hours: 12 hours/day, 7 days/week.
- Insurance Coverage: Death & Disability, Life Insurance, and Income Protection provided.
- Travel: Prepaid Economy class ticket at the start, end of Contract, and for each work leave rotation.
