Senior Business Solutions Analyst – Short-Term Commercial Insurance
SUMMARY:
A leading financial services firm is seeking a Senior Business Solutions Analyst to drive clarity, innovation, and precision in the short-term commercial insurance space. This role offers the opportunity to shape business architecture, design impactful solutions, and collaborate with top industry professionals to deliver transformative change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to gather, define, and translate requirements into detailed solution specifications.
- Analyze and document current and future business processes, driving the creation of functional and technical documentation.
- Model end-to-end business solutions using tools such as use cases, activity, and sequence diagrams.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, and Testers to ensure successful solution implementation.
- Lead or contribute to Agile sessions (Scrum/JAD) and participate in backlog refinement.
- Design scalable, reusable solution components in alignment with SDLC best practices.

Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in business analysis roles.
- 5+ years of experience in short-term commercial insurance (required).
- Strong expertise in solution design, process modeling, and stakeholder management.
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture and the full SDLC lifecycle.
- Proven ability to simplify complexity and deliver structured, practical solutions.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- IIBA or CBAP certification.
- Experience in Industrial or related sectors.
- Knowledge of XML schema design.
- Experience leading Scrum ceremonies or Agile sprints.
