What will you do?
- Grow the customer base and revenue by developing and executing Sanlam Retail Mass’s branch strategy.
- Guide, integrate, and standardize Sales Consultants’ activities to align with business goals.
- Foster a service-driven culture to enhance client experience both inside and outside the branch.
- Oversee daily branch operations, including strategy development and business planning.
- Drive sales performance and establish a strong service culture.
- Ensure compliance, risk management, and quality standards.
- Manage HR practices for direct reports, including talent development, performance management, and capacity planning.
- Report monthly on sales and service activities.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including Area Managers, Business Owners, and community forums.
Education and Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- RE1 and RE5 certifications.
- 120 Wealth Management credits or an FSCA-recognized tertiary qualification.
- Class of Business accreditation (annual).
- Compliance with CPD requirements.
- 5+ years of industry experience, including 3 years in leadership.
- Service management experience.
- Insurance sales and credit/lending experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Sales strategies and stakeholder management.
- Customer service excellence and regulatory knowledge.
- Familiarity with Sanlam products (ideal).
- People management and business acumen.
- Proficiency in data analytics, project management, and Microsoft tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Target-driven, organized, adaptable, and resilient.
