Role Purpose
The Investment Distribution Support Administrator (DSA) provides efficient, accurate administrative support to Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs), IFA practice staff, and consultants.

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Office administration or business-related qualification (Degree/NQF 7).

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in financial services (essential).
  • Insurance industry experience (preferred).
  • Experience within the MDS Sales environment is advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

Internal Processes: Sales and Service Experience

  • Understand and manage end-to-end processes for various product lines.
  • Identify and improve inefficient processes for better business operations.
  • Ensure compliance adherence and recognize the impact of non-compliance.
  • Professionally present quotes and supporting documents to support advice-led service.
  • Oversee new business processes with minimal revisions.
  • Process application forms and engage promptly with Financial Advisers/Practice staff.
  • Track and update all cases and applications on the activity manager.
  • Log activities accurately and manage pipeline progress.
  • Regularly update Business Consultants on quotes, pipeline status, and sales enablement.
  • Prepare reports and materials to support consultant engagements with IFAs.
  • Co-accountable for achieving Momentum Distribution Service targets.
  • Provide administrative support for marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize and train IFAs on digital tools like Power BI and Campaign Master.
  • Act as a primary contact for online navigation queries.
  • Ensure training sessions are documented and reported.
  • Provide national branch support when required.
  • Identify and report system or process issues to improve client experience.
  • Escalate operational issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate resilience in follow-ups to resolve cases efficiently.

Client Advisor: Stakeholder Engagement

  • Conduct all engagements professionally.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients and stakeholders.
  • Meet service level agreements to manage expectations.
  • Recommend improvements for client service and fair treatment.
  • Foster a culture of exceptional client service and feedback.
  • Support IFAs with training on digital capabilities.
  • Ensure consultants are informed about pipeline and new business activities.
