Key Responsibilities
- Oversee staff management, including training and scheduling
- Manage stock control and inventory processes
- Drive sales growth and minimize shrinkage/theft
- Ensure excellent customer service standards
- Maintain optimal store presentation and housekeeping
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with OHS Act and risk management
Performance Goals
- Achieve turnover and budget targets
- Implement cost-saving initiatives
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent (higher qualifications preferred)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Store Manager in FMCG retail
- Strong retail operations background
- In-depth knowledge of retail practices and South African retail legislation
- Proficiency in retail IT systems
- Sales/Marketing qualification (advantageous)
