Job Summary
As a Property Finance Specialist at Absa, you will provide bespoke mortgage solutions to customers while delivering on sales targets through exceptional service. Your role will involve building strong networks, executing targeted action plans, and ensuring seamless customer experiences.

Job Description

  • Maintain strong visibility and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Execute strategic action plans to achieve agreed application, final grant, and registration targets.
  • Engage existing customers to assess re-mortgage needs and provide expert mortgage advice.
  • Meet prospective customers at their convenience to offer tailored solutions and assist with application submissions.
  • Track and manage submitted applications, keeping customers informed on progress.
  • Ensure all business adheres to governance and compliance standards.
  • Maintain high conversion ratios in line with Absa’s Home Loan process.
  • Explore opportunities (property shows, auctions, etc.) to expand business sources and sales intake.
  • Monitor competitor activities to proactively offer superior solutions.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly resolving queries and obtaining required documentation.
  • Uphold TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) principles to enhance satisfaction and retention.
  • Maximize cross-selling opportunities with value-added products like property insurance and life cover.

Education & Experience

  • Required: NQF Level 5 qualification (National Certificate).
  • Preferred: NQF Level 6 qualification in Business or Commerce.
  • Required: 2-3 years in a sales role.
  • Preferred: 2-3 years in residential property finance.

Remuneration
Fixed CTC for the first 4 months, transitioning to a reduced fixed CTC with a competitive commission structure.

Education
Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required).
