About the Programme

The Youth Employment Programme provides unemployed young people with the opportunity to learn, grow, and gain practical work experience within the health and beauty retail environment.

Programme Structure

Key Components:

• Blended learning through classroom-based training and practical, on-the-job experience in a retail store environment.
• Structured development to build workplace readiness, retail skills, and customer service competence.
• Successful completion leads to an NQF Level 2 Checkout Operator occupational qualification.

Eligibility Requirements

• South African citizen
• Aged 18 to 29 years
• Matric certificate completed
• Currently unemployed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate willingness to learn
• Not currently registered on any learnership or skills programme
