About the Role:
Fidelity Vacancies is seeking a talented and driven Video Editor to create scroll-stopping, high-impact video content for performance-driven digital campaigns. This role is central to transforming ideas and raw footage into engaging visual stories that capture attention and drive measurable results across leading social and video platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit high-quality video content designed for social media performance
- Cut, colour-correct, and enhance footage with transitions, graphics, text overlays, animations, and audio
- Optimise formats, resolutions, and durations for platform-specific best practices
Content Adaptation & Versioning
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form videos such as Reels, Stories, and Shorts
- Implement feedback quickly to meet tight production timelines
Creative Collaboration
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate campaign goals into compelling visual narratives
- Contribute ideas to creative brainstorms around storytelling, structure, and motion design
Social Media Trends & Best Practices
- Stay current with video trends, platform updates, and emerging tools
- Use performance insights and analytics feedback to improve future edits
Asset Management
- Maintain organised file structures and naming conventions for team collaboration
- Archive and back up final edits, raw footage, and working project files
Motion Graphics & Basic Animation
- Create and integrate simple motion graphics and animated text
- Customise templates and produce original animations to elevate storytelling
Quality Control
- Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and platform specifications
- Conduct final quality checks to prevent sync issues, export errors, or visual and audio inconsistencies
Candidate Requirements:
- 1–2 years of video editing experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong understanding of social and digital platforms
- Excellent command of English
- Basic knowledge of sales and marketing principles
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to execute with precision
