Purpose of the Position
Lead a store team to achieve business KPIs by driving sales, managing costs, reducing risks and stock loss, overseeing administration, and maintaining world-class store standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high store standards
- Maintain the store image through effective stock management, merchandising, and promotional execution
- Minimise stock loss by fostering a positive store culture and adhering to security, stock, and cash handling procedures
- Manage operational costs in line with the company’s low-cost culture
- Ensure all administrative duties are completed accurately and in accordance with company guidelines
- Lead, train, coach, and motivate a dynamic store team to achieve performance targets
- Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards across the store
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification
- Proficient in English
- Relevant tertiary qualification (degree or diploma in business or retail management) is an advantage
- 1–2 years’ experience in a retail leadership role preferred
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite)
