Job Overview
Cashbuild Vacancies is seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented End Controller to ensure that all stock and fixed assets leaving or entering the store are properly verified and documented. The role is critical in preventing losses, maintaining accurate records, and supporting a secure retail environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 with 1 year related experience, or 2 years related work experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and the dominant local language
  • Strong literacy and numerical skills
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Key Performance Areas

Stock and Asset Control

  • Ensure no goods leave the store without the correct and fully completed documentation
  • Verify that documents reflect accurate dates, times, sequences, and signatures
  • Record and ensure authorization of all customer returns in the End Controller register
  • Maintain availability of a backup employee during shift changes, lunch, and tea breaks
  • Sign End Control keys in and out daily and maintain strict key control
  • Ensure all exit and entry doors remain closed when not in use
  • Confirm that loading and off-loading shutter doors are closed when not in operation
  • Monitor and report suspicious behavior or vehicles that may pose a risk to the store
  • Conduct random employee searches in line with company procedures

Customer Service

  • Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service when checking customer goods in and out
  • Direct customers to the appropriate staff member for further assistance when necessary

  • Adhere to operational standards and company procedures to maintain store readiness and control processes
