Purpose of the Position:
Lead a store team to achieve business KPIs, including driving sales, cost control, risk mitigation, stock loss prevention, administration, and maintaining world-class store standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Drive sales through exceptional customer service, maintaining store image, effective stock management, and promotional execution.
- Stock Loss Control: Minimize stock loss by fostering a vigilant store culture and adhering to security measures, stock controls, and cash handling procedures.
- Cost Management: Maintain cost efficiencies in line with the company’s low-cost culture.
- Administration: Ensure all store administrative tasks are completed in compliance with company guidelines.
- Team Leadership: Train, coach, and manage the performance of a dynamic store team.
- Standards Compliance: Uphold health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Proficiency in English.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business/retail (degree/diploma preferred).
- 1–2 years of retail experience in a leadership role.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office or Google GSuite is an advantage).
Required Attributes:
- Passion for retail and delivering world-class customer service.
- Integrity and a proactive work ethic.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, lead, and control operations effectively.
- Resilience in a fast-paced, high-pressure retail environment.
- Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
