Purpose of the Job
The Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing sales across a diverse customer base, including retail, commercial, and industrial clients. This role focuses on acquiring new customers, maintaining existing accounts, driving revenue growth, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Manage customer credit accounts, payment terms, and follow-ups.
- Present and promote company products and services to new and existing customers.
- Resolve customer issues and address objections effectively.
- Monitor customer feedback, competitor activity, and pricing trends.
- Execute sales strategies in alignment with marketing campaigns.
- Submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Follow assigned route plans and ensure timely customer visits.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 5–10 years of relevant sales experience
- Excellent communication skills
