Sales Representative – Road Logistics

Main Purpose of the Role
The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling Road Logistics services and solutions, driving new business growth, and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the logistics market

Build and maintain a strong and healthy sales pipeline to support future growth
-
Manage and respond to client complaints, service queries, and ongoing requirements
-
Act as a brand ambassador, consistently representing the company’s values and professional standards
-
Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, including domestic courier, distribution, and cross-border BLNE services
-
Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
-
Conduct regular travel within KwaZulu-Natal to meet and engage with clients
Minimum Requirements
-
Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience within the logistics industry
-
Proven sales achievements and industry-specific selling skills
-
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
-
Strong ability to achieve sales targets and generate new leads
-
Excellent negotiation and closing skills
-
Professional appearance and presentation
-
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and respond to client needs
-
Computer literacy with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-
Experience using CRM systems
-
Proven ability to research, develop, and qualify new leads
-
Ability to work collaboratively within a sales team while also performing independently

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and tender experience
Essential Qualifications

Matric / Grade 12

Proven track record of successful sales with evidence of achievements

Post-matric sales qualifications will be an added advantage

Effective time management and prioritisation to meet deadlines and close sales efficiently

Willingness to adapt to and implement new sales methods and strategies

Strong product knowledge within logistics services
