Salary:
Basic salary of R10,000 plus commission and performance bonuses. Commission structure available on request.

Reports To:
Sales Manager

About the Company:
Palanga Publishing & Training Academy specializes in Maths education and runs the My Maths Buddy program for teachers and learners in schools across South Africa. The company focuses on delivering educational programs to enhance learning outcomes for both teachers and learners.

Schedule:
Office hours: 08:00 – 16:30

Employment Conditions:
This position starts with a 3-month fixed contract. Monthly performance targets will be set, with evaluations and interviews conducted at the end of each month. Contracts will only be renewed if targets are consistently met. Permanent positions are offered to candidates who demonstrate the ability to achieve targets within the 3-month probationary period. Training will be provided.

Required Skills:

  • Telesales: 2–3 years
  • B2B Sales: 2–3 years
  • Outbound Sales: 2–3 years

Candidate Requirements:

  • Matric graduate
  • Minimum 3 years of outbound B2B sales experience, preferably in telesales, with a proven track record of achieving targets
  • Reside within 30–40 minutes of Lonehill, Johannesburg North (on-site role)

  • Excellent Communication & Active Listening: Engage customers, understand needs, and adapt your approach to build rapport.
  • Persuasion & Negotiation: Overcome objections and guide customers toward purchase decisions using empathy and strategic techniques.
  • Resilience & Patience: Maintain a positive attitude and handle rejection professionally.
  • Product Knowledge: Clearly explain product benefits and answer customer questions accurately.
  • Ability & Willingness to Learn: Continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Time Management & Organization: Efficiently manage high volumes of calls and maintain accurate CRM records.
