Deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, in line with Good Pharmacy Practice and within the legal scope defined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
Provide professional advice and counselling to support effective patient care in accordance with approved ways of working.
Execute all dispensary operations efficiently during night shifts, including responsible stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping and administration in line with company and SAPC standards.
Support, guide and oversee the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns in compliance with SAPC requirements, where applicable.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support service delivery.
Ensure collaboration and integration with clinic and healthcare departments to deliver a comprehensive healthcare offering to customers.
Uphold and promote the Group’s vision of being the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by living and driving company values.

Qualifications and Experience

Skills, Abilities and Job-Related Knowledge

Strong knowledge of SAPC regulations and relevant pharmaceutical legislation.
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality patient care.
Professional counselling and communication skills.
High levels of integrity, ethical conduct and regulatory compliance.
Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Tutorship and coaching capability.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, particularly in a night-shift environment.
