Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist Assistant QPB to provide pharmaceutical care services within the scope of practice and perform day-to-day dispensary administration. This role focuses on script administration and general dispensing duties, with an emphasis on patient satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Objectives:

• Interact with customers professionally, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Standard Operating Plans (SOPs) and agreed timelines.
• Administer scripts and perform all claiming or capturing procedures accurately.
• Ensure all patient profiles are handled completely and correctly.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals when required.
• Problem-solve and follow up on queries efficiently.

Key Duties:

• Interact with customers via telephone or in-person regarding medication and healthcare services.
• Accurately capture scripts received at the Central Pharmacy centre.
• Handle prescription queries and manage patient profiles.
• Assist with chronic authorizations.
• Liaise with other departments as needed.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as per operational requirements.

Knowledge:

• Product knowledge, including OTC medications
• SAPC and relevant legal knowledge
• Sound understanding of the chronic authorization process and procedures
• Customer service orientation
• Ethical working practices and compliance

• Computer literacy (MS Office)

• Bilingual (English required)
