The Manager Bakery is responsible for managing resources to maximise turnover and minimise shortages while ensuring all standards, processes, and policies are consistently adhered to. The role oversees hygiene, safety, production, and operational excellence within the Bakery Department.
Minimum Requirements
- NQF 3 Bakery qualification
- Experience as a Baker, Bakery Supervisor, or Bakery Manager

Key Responsibilities
Merchandising Management
- Ensure bakery products are displayed and merchandised according to company standards
Food Safety & Hygiene Management
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards within the Bakery Department
Customer Service Management
- Deliver excellent customer service and address customer needs proactively
Staff Management
- Lead, coach, and motivate bakery staff to achieve high performance
Administration
- Manage administrative tasks, reporting, and compliance
Stock Management
- Ensure accurate stock management using SAP and control of inventory levels
