About the Role

The FINANCIAL ANALYST plays a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strong balance sheet governance, and continuous process improvement. This position supports period-end close, reconciliations, audit readiness, and performance targets while driving efficiencies through automation and system optimization within AB InBev.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute general ledger close activities in line with the closing calendar and management deadlines.
• Prepare monthly and annual general accounting deliverables.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and prepare balance sheet commentary.
• Administer and clear open items in SAP to maintain healthy ageing profiles.
• Support achievement of weekly and monthly targets, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures.
• Present and implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring process issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring or high-severity issues to reduce reoccurrence.
• Identify automation opportunities and collaborate with the SAP team to enhance system-driven efficiencies.
• Adhere to internal control protocols and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Present key challenges, insights, and practical workarounds to the Team Lead.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant 3-year university degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an FMCG environment with prior related role exposure.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, and financial systems.
• End-to-end SAP experience.
