About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented EDRS Specialist to manage death registration processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely issuance of certificates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians, coroners, and state authorities to register deaths and obtain necessary permits
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, coordinating with internal staff and external medical certifiers to resolve discrepancies
• Utilize state and internal systems to efficiently process death registrations
• Ensure death certificates are filed within required state timelines
• Monitor cases for processing delays and escalate issues when necessary
• Identify complex cases and implement corrective actions proactively
• Build and maintain strong relationships with medical professionals, healthcare facilities, and county registrars
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Candidate Requirements:

• 1–3 years’ experience in administration, data entry, or customer service
• Background in healthcare, mortuary science, or public health preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
