About the Role:
Pepkor is seeking a detail-oriented EDC Administrator to manage end-to-end administrative functions across the Collections and Recoveries portfolios. This role provides essential support for external debt collection processes and ensures compliance, reporting, and efficient query resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Activities:
- Resolve and escalate queries according to SLA.
- Provide administrative support to External Debt Collectors (EDC).
- Ensure compliance with the company’s Collections strategy.
- Conduct performance reporting and reconciliations with EDC.
- Analyse and optimise the collections book.
- Respond to dispute-related queries from external collectors and service providers.
- Liaise with other departments as required.
- Manage monthly settlements and reconciliations.
- Draft response emails to queries and present monthly updates to management.
Administration:
- Capture all leave transactions on ESS accurately.
- Submit overtime requests to management in a timely manner.
- Manage CAS administration effectively.
Adherence & Compliance:
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including Absence Management, House Rules, and Disciplinary Policy.
Ad-Hoc Responsibilities:
- Contribute to team objectives and accomplish related tasks as needed.
- Support the implementation of new initiatives to improve Recoveries operations.
- Action additional instructions from management as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4.
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within financial services, collections, or retail sectors.
- Experience in query management within a Collections & EDC environment is preferred.
