About the Program:

Dis-Chem Pharmacies (CJ Finance) is seeking a detail-oriented Creditors Clerk in Delmas. The role focuses on the reconciliation and payment of Dis-Chem supplier accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Minimum Requirements:

Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• 2-3 years relevant experience in accounts

Advantageous:

• Relevant Finance Qualification
• Experience with SAP, BEST, and Readsoft
• Previous experience working in an accounts department

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile vendor accounts on BEST in preparation for payments
• Ensure reconciliations are completed and approved within internal deadlines
• Adhere to correct payment terms and procedures
• Resolve outstanding invoices and claims
• Follow up on account queries
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal departments
• Send workflow query invoices to stores and follow up on responses

• Basic accounting knowledge
• Strong English communication (read, write, speak)
• Trustworthy, honest, and a team player
• Deadline-oriented with strong time management skills
• Ability to relate effectively with others
• Computer literate – Word and Excel
