Job Summary
Network Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to take ownership of financial processes and ensure compliance within a dynamic reinsurance environment. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive impactful financial improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end monthly and quarterly close processes
- Manage accounting for complex reinsurance treaties and retrocession arrangements
- Review and analyze technical reserves, premium adjustments, and claims
- Partner with actuaries, underwriters, and global finance teams
- Ensure adherence to IFRS, Solvency II, and internal controls
- Champion process improvements and support audit activities
Requirements:
- BCom Accounting with CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in reinsurance or insurance accounting (global exposure a plus)
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and regulatory standards
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial insights effectively
