Role Purpose
The Actuarial Analyst will be a motivated, results-driven professional responsible for financial reporting across Momentum Group’s international life insurance subsidiaries. This role is ideal for someone eager to tackle challenges, drive efficiency, and contribute to strategic insights.
Requirements
- A graduate degree in Actuarial Science or a related field, with a commitment to completing professional actuarial exams.
- Minimum of 4 completed CT actuarial exams.
- Demonstrated progress in actuarial examinations.
- 0 to 2 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL is advantageous.
- Prior experience in life valuations is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Produce quarterly financial reports across multiple valuation and reporting bases.
- Analyse and present key financial metrics, including earnings, embedded value, and new business value.
- Investigate surplus trends and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Assist in preparing statutory returns and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including asset managers, accountants, and product teams.
- Identify automation opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency.
