About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our telesales team in the short-term motor insurance sector. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, this role is pivotal in driving performance, developing talent, and consistently achieving sales targets.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who excels in fast-paced environments and is passionate about coaching, motivating, and building high-performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of telesales supervisors and sales professionals.
- Ensure sales targets and quality standards are met through daily performance monitoring and adjustments.
- Provide leadership that aligns the team with company vision and objectives.
- Facilitate collaborative team meetings to drive problem-solving and innovation.
- Manage supervisor performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
- Use data-driven insights to enhance call effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve consistent results.

Qualifications & Experience

- Completed degree from a recognized tertiary institution (Honours in Commerce, Finance, CIMA, or BSc Honours in Mathematics/Statistics beneficial).
- Proven experience in high-paced sales environments with a track record of meeting targets.
- Previous sales, operations, or customer service experience advantageous.
- Fluency in English with clear articulation and a neutral accent.
