Position Overview:
The Key Account Executive (Group Risk) will drive business growth by leveraging an existing portfolio of warm clients in the mining, metals, and manufacturing sectors. This role is pivotal in expanding the Group Risk and Life Products portfolio nationally while fostering strong client relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow the Group Risk and Life Insurance business across South Africa.
- Cross-sell complementary COID insurance products in collaboration with other business units.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Deliver expert financial advice compliant with FAIS requirements, backed by a documented record of advice.
- Educate clients on tax benefits and technical aspects of Group Risk and Employee Benefit solutions.
- Provide customized solutions to meet clients’ Group Risk and Employee Benefit needs.
- Manage sales pipelines and achieve quarterly targets.
Qualifications & Experience:
- NQF7 qualification recognized by the FSCA.
- RE5 certification (Mandatory).
- RE1 and CFP (Advantageous).
- Proven expertise in Group Risk and Employee Benefits, including industry legislation.
- Sales-driven, client-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
