Dealer Principal – Accredited Resource Consulting Services
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dealership, including New and Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales, Workshop, Parts, and Finance & Insurance departments.
- Drive profitability through effective cost management, revenue generation, and strategic planning.
- Develop and implement business plans and marketing strategies to achieve sales and service targets.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and promote a customer-centric culture across the dealership.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, manufacturer standards, and internal company policies.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate department managers and staff to achieve optimal performance.
- Analyze financial reports and KPIs to monitor business performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensure stock availability, and manage vehicle ordering processes.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation in dealership processes and service delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Management Degree or Diploma (essential)
- Minimum 5 years of proven management experience within the automotive industry
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent financial acumen and analytical ability
- In-depth knowledge of dealership operations and automotive industry standards
- A track record of successfully meeting and exceeding targets
- Valid driver’s license
