Surgo is looking for a Zulu Speaking Customer Advisor to join our client’s team in Century City. The primary focus of this role is to deliver exceptional customer service by understanding and addressing customer needs effectively, ensuring business profitability while upholding fair customer treatment. You will engage with clients via inbound calls, handling general Contract and transactional inquiries professionally.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 months unbroken inbound call centre experience
- Proven customer service experience
- Administration experience
- Background in healthcare, insurance, financial services, or administration (advantageous)
- Familiarity with relevant legislative frameworks (preferred)
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) certification
- Fluent in Zulu (read, write, speak)
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Clear criminal record
- Immediate availability
- Fixed-term contract
- Own transport (advantage)
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling inbound calls and addressing customer queries
- Providing accurate product and service information
- Resolving customer issues using in-house systems
- Maintaining call logs and reports
- Escalating complex cases to senior agents when necessary
- Ensuring productivity and quality standards are met
- Capturing information accurately on CRM systems
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
- Monitoring Average Handling Time (AHT) and Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Complying with business processes and legislation

Salary & Working Hours:
- Salary: R9,500 per month
- Working hours: Monday–Friday (08:00–17:00)
- Weekend shifts: Every second Saturday (08:00–12:00)
