Job Description:
As an Insurance Call Centre Agent at Lewis Stores, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for:
- Selling insurance products telephonically to potential policyholders using approved scripts.
- Utilizing a call center dialer to manage lead follow-ups efficiently.
- Achieving insurance policy sales and campaign targets.
- Assisting policyholders with policy administration inquiries.
- Following up with policyholders on unpaid premiums.
- Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring fair treatment of policyholders.
- Adhering to quality, training, and compliance processes.
- Accurately recording policy sales and maintaining up-to-date policyholder information.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Meeting Regulatory Fit and Proper requirements.
Advantageous Qualifications:
- Proficiency in additional South African languages.
- Sales, Marketing, or Insurance Diploma/Degree.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- FAIS Regulatory Exam (RE5) for Representatives.
Ideal Experience:
- 2+ years of Call Centre experience, and/or
- 2+ years of Insurance sales or Financial Services experience.
Competencies:
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
- Excellent conflict management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer literate in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of Insurance Legislation and Regulation (advantageous).
- Self-motivated, committed, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure in a target-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
