Job Description
Fidelity Vacancies is seeking a detail-oriented Fitment Quality Inspector to manage and maintain quality standards within Fidelity Secure Drive. This role ensures that all vehicle tracking fitments are completed accurately, resolves customer-related issues, and supports technical evaluations and installations. The Fitment Quality Inspector will uphold operational and fitment standards, provide product support, and ensure adherence to company policies and PSIRA requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

Resource Management
• Manage and maintain all allocated resources including vehicles, tools, stock, cell phones, and uniforms
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness, roadworthiness, and compliance with traffic regulations
• Safeguard tools and conduct regular stock takes, resolving any missing stock
• Monitor operational devices and data usage
• Maintain personal hygiene and company uniform as per PSIRA standards

Operational Support
• Conduct on-the-job training for technicians when required
• Attend to complaints and offer product support onsite and remotely
• Assist with vehicle fitments and ensure installations meet the highest quality standards
• Perform repair, maintenance, and installation of tracking systems
• Implement new fitment techniques in line with OEM guidelines
• Apply specialised fitment techniques when required
• Provide feedback to internal teams and develop own skills continuously
• Ensure familiarity and adherence to company policies and procedures

Customer & Technical Interaction
• Resolve technical and client queries efficiently
• Maintain fitment quality and standards
• Support technical evaluations and repairs as needed

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Matric certificate
• Valid Driver’s License (Code B)
• Clear Criminal Record
• PSIRA Grade C certification
• Trade test in motor electrical electronics or similar preferred
• Auto-electrician qualification advantageous
• Minimum 6–10 years’ experience in vehicle tracking equipment fitment
