Job Description
Spar Vacancies is seeking a dynamic Digital & Experiential Marketing Specialist to support and execute digital marketing and experiential initiatives in line with the company’s marketing strategy. This role focuses on managing online platforms, social media, content creation, campaigns, and experiential activations to enhance brand engagement and drive consumer loyalty.
The Digital & Experiential Marketing Specialist will collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and external partners to deliver innovative marketing solutions, monitor campaign performance, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels. The role also involves coordinating events, sponsorships, influencer partnerships, and online advertising to maximize impact and ROI.
Key Performance Areas
• Support the development, implementation, and coordination of digital marketing and experiential activities according to the marketing plan
• Coordinate monthly content schedules across social media, website, and app platforms
• Manage the groups’ TOPS Facebook locations and Google My Business listings
• Oversee implementation of the yearly TOPS Advertising & Promotions calendar for digital, influencer, and experiential campaigns
• Monitor critical paths and deadlines for digital media and experiential initiatives
• Ensure accuracy and quality in design, layout, and campaign materials
• Collaborate closely with advertising agencies on national online, influencer, and experiential activities
• Coordinate marketing assets for campaigns at national, regional, and store-specific levels
• Maintain website content, ensuring it is updated and relevant
• Plan and execute Social Media Optimization (SMO) and content marketing campaigns based on analytics and customer behavior
• Oversee content creation including photography, video, and copywriting, ensuring brand consistency across channels
• Stay up-to-date with digital, social media, influencer, and experiential marketing trends and best practices
• Analyse campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve strategies
• Liaise with Red Media to review and sell online advertising rate cards to suppliers
• Leverage SPAR2U through social media, app, and web advertising to drive leads and conversions
• Collaborate on digital and experiential budget planning with the National Online and Experiential Brand Manager
• Support supplier collaboration for online and experiential competition collateral
• Design, plan, and execute on-and-off premise events, activations, and sponsorship initiatives
• Work with brand partners, influencers, and businesses to create unique experiential campaigns
• Enhance online shopping experience through collaboration with omnichannel, merchandise, and product teams
• Support online advertising campaigns including Google Ads and social media ads, focusing on conversion and ROI
• Track, report, and evaluate campaign performance, consumer feedback, and experiential activities
• Perform ad hoc duties as required by management
Minimum Requirements
• Degree or National Diploma in Marketing
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing or advertising, including digital and experiential campaigns
• Experience with social media advertising, promotional platforms, and agency liaison advantageous
• Prior experience executing experiential marketing activities
• Knowledge of FMCG liquor marketing
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Understanding of marketing analytics and insight data to inform decisions
• High attention to detail and accuracy
