About the Role
Truworths Careers is seeking a meticulous and experienced Head Office Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. This role provides exposure to both local and international entities within the Truworths Group (South Africa & UK) and offers the opportunity to work alongside skilled professionals in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk and control assessments for financial and operational processes, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Perform integrated and risk-based process audits across business areas
- Test control design, effectiveness, and perform substantive testing including analytical review
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports
- Conduct audit follow-ups to ensure implementation of recommendations
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant B-degree
- Professional certification (e.g., CIA) advantageous
- Minimum 3 years’ internal audit experience
- Experience in end-to-end risk-based audits and business process assessment
- Exposure to auditing finance departments is advantageous
- Retail and internal audit experience beneficial
