Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-function bookkeeping from source documents to final trial balance.
- Process tax invoices for suppliers and customers accurately and on time.
- Maintain and reconcile cashbooks, including monthly bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile supplier and customer statements and resolve variances.
- Process payroll and related statutory deductions.
- Manage SARS eFiling submissions, including EMP201 and EMP501.
- Prepare VAT reconciliations and VAT returns and assist with VAT reviews.
- Capture journals and ensure accurate financial records in line with accounting standards.

Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in a Bookkeeper role.
- Proficient in accounting software, including Pastel.
- Solid understanding of Annual Financial Statements.
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Contactable references.
- Clear criminal record, subject to checks.
