Mr Price Home is looking for a Store Manager to lead our Somerset West location. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and customer-focused leader to drive sales, manage operations, and create an exceptional shopping experience. Responsibilities

Stock Management:

  • Oversee the accurate receipt, unpacking, and merchandising of stock.
  • Monitor stock levels, minimize losses, and ensure product availability.
  • Maintain stockroom organization and approve write-offs, recalls, and returns.

Sales Growth & Profitability:

  • Analyze sales and profitability reports to develop action plans that drive performance.
  • Monitor product performance and provide feedback to optimize sales.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance sales and increase brand awareness.

Risk Management:

  • Conduct compliance checks to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Customer Experience Management:

  • Implement and maintain customer experience initiatives, including promotions, visual merchandising, and store upkeep.
  • Ensure high service standards and an engaging shopping environment.

Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve store KPIs.
  • Identify training and development needs, focusing on talent management and succession planning.
  • Manage recruitment, performance, and team motivation.

Innovation:

  • Implement innovative solutions from Head Office to improve customer experience and store operations.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
  • 3–4 years of retail management experience.
  • Strong sales and service management skills.
  • Budgeting and financial management experience.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of retail, branding, customer needs, and product trends.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for home décor and design.
