Purpose of the Job
The Sales Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the sales function, ensuring the efficient compilation, control, and distribution of quotations and related documentation in line with company procedures and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Administration and Support

Compile, verify, and distribute quotations for tenders, FMLs, full distribution, fuel adjustments, labour and annual increases, and urgent one-page quotes in line with Standard Operating Procedures

Receive and manage quote requests and electronic tasks for acceptance and processing

Allocate quote numbers, update the quote register, and close off quotes with accurate date tracking

Ensure all quotations are prepared using the correct templates and submitted for checking

Distribute approved quotes to the relevant stakeholders

Maintain accurate filing of all quotations and supporting documentation for future reference

Ensure one-page quotes are calculated using the customer’s current code
Professional Conduct and Compliance

Maintain a professional standard of conduct at all times

Provide support to operational functions as required

Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards

Maintain high housekeeping standards within the work area

Adhere to the prescribed dress code in line with Standard Operating Procedures
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)

Computer literate
Skills Required

Strong administrative capability with minimal supervision

High attention to detail with the ability to review and check own work accurately
